Project Second Chance Volunteer Tutor Training

Project Second Chance, the Contra Costa County Library adult literacy program, is offering training for volunteer tutors. Volunteers are needed to help adults, who read below a 6th grade level, improve reading, writing and spelling skills. Training is one Wednesday and two Saturdays. All 14 hours are required.
To take the training you must pre-register at http://ccclib.org/psc/tutors.html. Training is at the Pleasant Hill Library. On-going tutoring can take place at the library of your choice.
