In 2013, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will mark our Centennial. Â For 100 years, ADL has led in the fight against Anti-Semitism, bigotry and hate with a goal of securing justice and fair treatment for all. Â
The theme for our Centennial year is " Imagine a World Without Hate, " Â a dream we hope to make a reality.
Locally, ADL's Centennial will be recognized throgh a compelling series of evening speakers featuring ADL experts. Â This series is open to the public at no charge. Deborah Lauter is the Director of Civil Rights of the Anti-Defamation League. She has been with the ADL for 12 twelve years, having previously served as its Regional Director in Atlanta.
She oversees domestic policy, programs and staff in three key ADL departments: Legal Affairs, the Center on Extremism, and the Library and Research Center. Deborah Lauter received a B.A. Degree from the University of California, Berkeley; and a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, in New York. Prior to joining the staff of ADL she practiced corporate law inSan Francisco, and served as the Community Relations Director for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.

Ms. Lauter has published numerous op-eds and articles on issues at the forefront of the American Jewish community, and has appeared on local, national and international radio and television news programs.
