The Culinary History of American Slavery with Michael Twitty
Join nationally renowned culinary historian Michael Twitty for a presentation on how African American slaves utilized certain crops, tools, and materials to provide for themselves & their families. The program includes roundtrip transportation from the Heinz History Center to Meadowcroft, a boxed lunch, & admission. Visitors may also choose to drive to Meadowcroft separately.
