Edgar Allan Poe: Love & Death

Saturday, Feb 16, 2013 5:00p

Celebrate the end of Valentine's Day — by burying it alive!

Edgar Allan Poe once wrote that the death of a beautiful woman is the most poetical topic in the world. See if he was right as Poe himself returns to life (portrayed by Rob Velella) to read from the works that best display that thin line between love and death — including "Annabel Lee" and "The Raven." In addition to reading a selection of his works, Poe will explain his reasoning for his macabre themes and answer questions.
