DogtoberFEST

Don't miss out on CARMAA's Celebration of Adoption, DogtoberFEST, on October 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the SouthSide Works, Pittsburgh (lot next to McCormick & Schmick's restaurant). The event starts at 11 a.m. with our Pooch Pride Parade Costume Contest with over $500 in prizes available for Most Original Costume and Dog-Owner Lookalike Costume and Best Homemade Costume ($5 entry fee)! Adoptable dogs from shelters and rescues across our area will be available and ready to meet their potential… Show more new families! DogtoberFEST 2012 features lives music, homemade food, specialty vendors, training demonstrations and Ask-a-Vet and Ask-a-Trainer booths. Admission is FREE to the public. Bring your own dog ... or two ....for a day of doggie fun!
Dogs cannot be adopted from the DogtoberFEST event, but applications will be received and dog meet-and-greets may take place. All public dogs attending must be current on vaccinations and be people and dog friendly.
