The Rex Theatre has been a fixture on Pittsburgh's Southside for over 90 years. An historic space, the Rex started as one of the city's famous movie houses and has continued its legacy of providing entertainment to area residents. Now the Rex is known as a unique and flexible performance space that accommodates local and national acts, events, and films.

As of January 3rd 2007, the entire theatre is smoke free. Being a theatre and concert venue, we are now in compliance with the new Allegheny County smoking ban.
