Fun. & Tegan And Sara
Fun., a New York trio led by Glendale native Nate Ruess, won best new artist and song of the year at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, performing “Carry On,” the third hit single from their breakthrough album, “Some Nights.” The first two singles from that album — “We Are Young” and “Some Nights” —were among the 10 best-selling singles of 2012. The Canadian indie-pop duo of Tegan and Sara finally cracked the U.S. market in 2012 with the single “Closer” and a tour with the Black Keys.
