A chili cookoff sanctioned by the International Chili Society is the highlight of this ninth-annual event. For $5, you get a tasting kit that includes seven 2-ounce cups for sampling competitor chili entries and a ballot to vote for your favorite. Midway rides and games are offered, craft booths and food vendors are available and live music is performed by A Boy Named Sioux, and Chuck E. Baby. Presented by the Ahwatukee Community Swim & Tennis Center.
