Formed in 2003 by Al Cisneros and Chris Hakius of Sleep, these California rockers tend to do their best work on the sleepier side of the stoner-rock spectrum (although drummer Emil Amos took over for Hakius in 2008). Last year’s “Adavitic Songs” earned raves from Sputnikmusic and Preview, whose critic said “it is far and away the most entrancing document the band has released.” Sir Richard Bishop, Blues Control and Gog round out the lineup.
