Dance Motion presents The Gift of the Magi. This ballet is based on the story by O. Henry and adapted by children's book author Mary Amato, who won the Arizona Young Readers Award for her book the Word Eater. Long ago, a young couple wanted to surprise each other on their first Christmas together. With no money in their pockets they set out separately to find each other the perfect gift. Through the festive streets of old New York they traveled, meeting a cast of funny and fascinating characters along the way. Come and discover the secret gifts that this couple find for each other.
