This magical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen classic set to music by Sergei Prokofiev has become a holiday favorite for the entire family.
Center Dance Ensemble.created and first performed "Snow Queen" in 1990 as a 20-minute piece and have presented it every year since, adding new elements and passages to flesh it out and make it a full-length production.
The Arizona Republic says:. "Snow Queen is a civic treasure (that) belongs only to Phoenix and can be seen nowhere else . . . a jewel of theatrical flourish that can inspire children for the rest of their lives."..
With Amber Robins returning as the Snow Queen. and Sally Hogan as the ever-popular Enchantress.
