Small World... Big World Opening Photography Reception
See a world the naked eye can’t see. The Nikon Small World exhibit of photomicrography makes one stop in Pennsylvania at The Wistar Institute. 20 images capture the beauty of cells, plants, and animals at the molecular level.
For one night only, Wistar’s collection of large-scale anatomical models by American sculptor William Rush will be on display. Dr. Caspar Wistar, our Institute’s namesake, used these early 19th-century models to help illustrate comparative anatomy in his medical lectures.
