This exhibit, guest curated by Netanel Portier, weaves together rarely-seen images of Israel from the Lenkin Family Collection of Photography at U Penn Libraries– along with photographs by two Israeli photographers: Yosaif Cohain and Gilad Ophir.
In The Open Lens: Glalery-Petah Tikvah is known as “the mother of all settlements” in Palestine was once Zionist. The artist investigates this city's changing landscape while exploring its myths and complex realities with portraits and landscapes.
