The Sakura Sunday Celebration takes place under the canopy of ornamental Japanese cherry trees at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. It begins at 7 a.m., with the Cherry Blossom 5K. At 10:30 a.m. a celebration of spring in the Japanese tradition offering food, live music,dance performances, martial-arts demonstrations,crafts and more.
