Literary Salon - A Christmas Carol
Join us for a discussion of A Christmas Carol, which Dickens wrote over the course of two months in late 1843. The book tapped into an early Victorian era interest in old, forgotten holiday traditions. The story of Scrooge’s conversion is one that Dickens hoped would resonate among humanity in light of the turmoil created by the industrial revolution.
Dickens Literary Salons are free and open to the public but registration is required.
