Los Gu'achis Concert at the Petaluma Museum
Los Gu'achis is a Petaluma-based quartet that plays instrumental music of the Southwest, Early California, Mexico and other places. Los Gu'achis take their name from the Gu-Achi Fiddlers, who resided in the Fu-Achi District of the Papgo Indian Reservation in southern Arizona. Early members of the tribe developed a unique musical sound utilizing violins, guitar and drums. Influences began in 1539 from Spanish missionaries. Join us at the museum at 2:00 pm on Saturday, 12/21/13.
