"The Annual Harry Houdini Séances" - A Documentary Film

Once each year, from 1964 until 2002, an authentic Harry Houdini Séance was held in Sonoma County. Organized by Bill Soberanes (Petaluma Argus Courier Columnist) and Nahmen Nissen (Magician & Entertainer) they were held every Halloween Night in a secret location. Haunted mansions, graveyards, hotels, a Wax Museum to name a few. The inner circle that included 13 people, with a small group looking on, would try to contact the spirit of Harry Houdini.

Now local Petaluma filmmaker Tom Wyrsch ("Remembering… Show more Playland at the Beach" and "Sutro's:The Palace at Land's End") has made a documentary film telling the complete story of the séances.
