"A musical and comical genius of our time" - Harold Vantik, New York Times Book Review, April 5th, 2004
Dave totally made that quote up, above, but screw it. Someday, they'll be paying out of their ears to hear his show in Madison Square Garden. Until then, you get to say you visited his site in the 'early years'.
Dave started playing guitar at age 8, and started songwriting at 16. Since those times, he's played at concerts, camps, and cafes, with a dry musical wit, and great stories to tell. These include a the 1997 and 1998 Bonfire Rallies, where he played his satirical renditions of 'Piano Man' and 'American Pie' to audiences of over 8,000 people. What a pimp!
Most importantly, and narcissistically, David enjoys writing in the 3rd person about himself. Gosh, this feels good!
