Jake Winebaum is president of RHD Interactive and was the founder and chief executive of Business.com. He is also cofounder of eCompanies, which, in addition to Business.com, founded Jamdat (JMDT, sold to EA), Boingo, USBX Advisory Services, and was the lead investor in Lower My Bills (sold to Experian).
Prior to Business.com and eCompanies, Winebaum held several senior management at The Walt Disney Co., including chairman of Buena Vista Internet Group (BVIG), overseeing Disney.com, ESPN.com, ABCNews.com, ABC.com and Family.com; president of Disney Online, where he led the team that developed and executed the expansion of the Disney brand onto the Internet beginning in 1994; and president of Walt Disney Magazine Publishing. He also founded both FamilyFun and FamilyPC magazines and served as president, editor and publisher of both publications. Winebaum sold FamilyFun to The Walt Disney Co. in 1992.
Prior to FamilyFun, Winebaum served as senior vice president of marketing at U.S. News & World Report. He also founded and served as president of U.S. News Productions, a television production company. Prior to that position, Winebaum worked for Time Warner at Fortune and Time magazines.
Winebaum is a Dartmouth College graduate.
