Bette Midler is a living legend, She is an actress and singer whom has accomplished a lot and is still going strong. She currently is performing in Las Vegas.

She first began her career on Broadway, starring in "Fiddler on the Roof". She then started singing at Continental Baths where her humor, costumes, and her voice caught many people's attention. she signed a deal with Atlantic Records and released her first album, "Divine Miss M" which landed her on the Billboard charts at #9 and earned platinum status. She won a Grammy for "Best New Artist" in 1973. After coming back from a tour she went on to star in a feature film,"The Rose" winning 2 Golden Globe Awards. and a Grammy for her title song in the film. She was nominated for best actress for the movie as well. She was best-known out of all her movies in "Beaches. Her latest work, "The Women" (2008), starring with other major female actresses, Annette Bening,Meg Ryan, and Eva Mendes.
