Sara Holoubek

Sara Holoubek is a free agent consultant, serving growth firms and investors in the interactive advertising sector. She is also contributing editor in charge of DM News' SearchBuzz and a general contributor to Marketingprofs: Daily Fix. Ms. Holoubek has recently been elected to the 2006 Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization (SEMPO) board of directors, as well as to the post of SEMPO Treasurer.

Previously iCrossing's Chief Strategy Officer, Ms. Holoubek was a critical player in building the firm's New York office, repositioning the iCrossing brand and raising a VC round of $13 million. Prior to this experience, Ms. Holoubek held posts in client strategy with interactive agencies Organic and Blue Dingo. Her vertical expertise covers over 10 sectors and includes names such as Levi Strauss & Co, Bloomingdales, Compaq, Century 21 Real Estate, Martha Stewart Omnimedia, Symantec and Genworth Financial.

Ms. Holoubek has both contributed to and been quoted in publications such as Adweek, DM News, Mediapost's Search Insider, WSJ, ClickZ and Internet Retailer. She also serves as a frequent guest lecturer at venues such as Harvard, NYU, Baruch College, Search Engine Strategies, OMMA and the DMA.

Ms. Holoubek also brings an international perspective to her work, having lived and worked in Latin America and Europe, and is fluent in Spanish and French. She holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. from HEC in France.
