Alliance

This short-lived, American melodic rock quintet was formed in 1980 by the talented vocalist Mark Bucchare, with guitarist Pat Hand, keyboard player Mark Heckert, bass player Bradley Davidson and drummer David Pridemore completing the line-up. Their music was characterized by note-perfect harmonies, razor-sharp arrangements and understated guitar work. Their self-titled debut, however, lacked both the image and real direction necessary to elevate them above the numerous other Styx / Kansas / Journey clones around at the time.
