The Kax

A post-punk power pop trio based out of Los Angeles, CA, the Kax are singer and guitarist Justin Clay, bassist Stephan Versini, and drummer Drew Grant. Featuring a powerful yet melodic sound that echoes Fugazi mixed with early U2 and yet seems somehow entirely original and current, the band released the infectious self-titled The Kax in 2007. Produced and engineered by Scott Gilman, the album featured a pair of songs with singer and songwriter Sierra Swan. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
