Chris Brown

Chris Brown (born May 5, 1989 in Tappahannock, VA) is a singer and actor. Brown was discovered at age 13 by a talent agent and he moved to New York and begin to work with producers.

In 2004 he signed with Jive Records. The following year he released his debut album "Chris Brown." The album features his first single "Run It!" topped the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart at #1. "Chris Brown" eventually was certified double platinum in the US.

He released his second album "Exclusive" in 2007. The album features the single "Kiss Kiss," a song that featured T-Pain. The song would reach #1 in the US Billboard Hot 100. The album has been certified platinum in the United States. His third studio album will be released on December 15, 2009 - titled "Graffiti."

Brown has also been involved in TV and film roles. He made his film debut in 2007's "Stomp the Yard," and made his producing debut in 2010 upcoming movie "Takers." In 2009 Brown made headlines for pleading guilty to domestic violence charges against pop vocalist Rhianna, he was eventually sentenced to five years probation and six months community service.
