Armin Mueller-Stahl

Born on December 17,1930 from East Prussia. He started acting in 1950 in East Berlin. He became a successful actor on screen and stage. He was declared the most popular actor 5 consecutive times in his country.
He began his US film career in 1989 in "Music Box" starring as Jessica Lange's father. and received a Oscar nomination for best supporting actor in the 1996 movie "Shine" He also appeared in the X-Files in 1999. In 2004 he appeared in the television series "The West Wing". His latest appearance was in the movie "Angels and Demons" as Cardinal Strauss.
