Lo-fi Santa Cruz, CA-based indie rocker Dylan McKeever released his first album, The Penguin League, under the Antarctica Takes It! moniker in 2006. Employing a rotating cast of members, McKeever’s homegrown, offbeat, but still accessible bedroom/laptop chamber pop has drawn comparisons to likeminded artists such as Page France, Sufjan Stevens, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
