Love Like Fire

Vocalist/guitarist Ann Yu -- who had spent some time living with Ronnie Vannucci of the Killers -- and drummer/keyboardist David Farrell were about to leave San Francisco for Los Angeles when they discovered an attractive band-wanted ad from guitarist/keyboardist Ted Parker. The threesome remained in San Francisco and quickly formed Love Like Fire in early 2006, later adding bassist Robert Kissinger. The debut EP Bed of Gold was completed later in the year and another EP, An Ocean in the Air, appeared in mid-2007. The latter features assistance from producer Jeff Saltzman (the Killers, the Sounds) and engineer Reto Peter (Modest Mouse). ~ Kenyon Hopkin, All Music Guide
