Hailing from Durham, NC, Clark & the Hot Nuts were the ultimate Animal House frat band: Black, raunchy, and steeped in R&B. Famous along the Southern East Coast for appearing on stage in fur-covered jock straps, their live show made them top dogs on the college circuit for many years. Doug Clark & the Hot Nuts continued to perform up until his passing in 2002 at the age of 66. The Hot Nuts, still billed with Clark's name, continue to perform and carry on their founder's raunchy legacy. ~ Cub Koda, Rovi
