The Panic Division

San Antonio's Panic Division (not to be confused with Pansy Division or Panic! At the Disco) arose from the embers of local post-hardcore/emo unit Carbon 12 Theory. Carbon's Colton Holliday (vocals, guitar), Daniel Stanush (guitar), and Tavis Wilson (bass) tapped drummer James Castillo and keyboardist Khary Alexander to form Panic, which maintained the emo urgency but increased the electronic textures and synth pop elements. Versus, the quintet's 2005 Militia Group debut, appeared in November 2005, and Panic Division toured heavily in support of it. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
