Miss TK & the Revenge

Revolving around the New Jersey based wife-and-husband duo Tannis Kristanjson and Ari Katz, Miss TK & the Revenge mix punk, dance-pop, and new wave into their own danceable, playful sound. Katz was the singer for Lifetime in the early '90s before forming the drone-pop group Zero Zero with Kristanjson, who sang and played keyboards. The band dissolved after releasing 2001's AM Gold, but soon after the duo formed Miss TK & the Revenge, which also features guitarist Zak and bassist Jamie J 5. In spring 2004, the band went into the studio and recorded its debut album, XOXO, which was released by Gern Blandsten that fall. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
