Cheryl Hines (born September 21, 1965 in Miami Beach, FL) is an actress and, recently, film director. She is known primarily for her role as Cheryl David, wife (and later ex-wife) of Larry David, on the hit HBO show "Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Hines' professional career began with small roles on TV shows beginning in 1997. She was cast as Larry David's wife, Cheryl, for his HBO special "Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm" in 1999. The special was turned into a full time series in 2000 for which she has continued her role.
She made her film debut in 2004's "Along Came Polly" starring Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston, and made her first starring roll in 2006's "RV" as Robin Williams' wife, Jamie. In 2009 she made her directorial debut for the movie "Serious Moonlight."
