Prima Donna

Glam-garage rockers Prima Donna deliver rollicking, street-smart sounds with a modern twist. Formed in Los Angeles in 2003, the band is comprised of singer/guitarist Kevin Preston, guitarist Erik Arcane, saxophone/keyboard player Aaron Minton, bassist "Lights Out" Levine, and drummer David S. Field. Two years later the band embarked on a European tour with likeminded Texas Terri, offered their full-length debut Kiss Kiss for the Brunette label, and wrapped up the year opening for post-Sex Pistols… Show more project Glen Matlock & the Philistines on their U.S. tour. In 2008, as Prima Donna offered its sophomore record, After Hours, the band formed a friendship with Green Day, who enlisted Preston to join the touring lineup of Green Day side project Foxboro Hot Tubs. Radio airplay and U.S. tours with Eddie & the Hot Rods and U.S. Bombs frontman Duane Peters' Gunfight the following year further raised Prima Donna's profile, culminating in a support slot on Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown world tour in Europe and later Asia.
