Maine singer-songwriter Howie Day was 19 when he recorded his debut, Australia, in 2000 through his own Daze imprint. Sony reissued the album in 2002 and it received critical acclaim. He followed up in 2003 with Stop All the World Now, which was produced by Youth (Crowded House, the Verve).
