Uptown Sinclair

Affiliating distinguished pop style figures with seldom alternative visions, Uptown Sinclair uncovered powered rock conceptions that mostly rely on a proficient presence of the guitar section. Frontman Dave Hill and guitarist Tim Parnin were the establishing members of the Cleveland band, determined to go beyond the traditional pop marks. The duo, that formerly worked together at Sons of Elvis, decided to join their patterned talents after Elvis disbanded. Rob Pfeiffer (drums), previously with Sense Field, was the following addition to Sinclair's lineup, who, by then, had decided to record their first album. It was then that Mr. Colson, who previously worked with bands like the Urge or Walt Mink, offered to produce the band's creations. Entering Smart Studios soon after, Sinclair released their first eight-song demo, and ultimately the EP Uptown Sinclair. Bassist Bill Watterson finalized the group's lineup in 2001, before the band entered their first major countrywide tour. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
