Operation Makeout

Operation: Makeout has been writing and recording their fair share of complex guitar work and angst pop in their native of Vancouver, BC, since May of 1999. With this sound that can be easily placed amongst the likes of the Need, Sleater-Kinney, and the Puta-Pons, the lineup of Katie (guitar/vocals), Jesse (bass/vocals), and Anna (drums) self-released their self-titled first album in the summer of 2000. First Base followed the next year, offering a short taste of what was yet to come on their tour with the New Town Animals.
