Evil Beaver

The Chicago-based female alt-metal duo Evil Beaver features bassist/vocalist Evie Evil and drummer Laura Ann Beaver, the latter of who had previously played with Motorhome and the Prescriptions. After getting together in 1999, Evil Beaver's trashy, sexy camp made them a popular draw on the local club scene. They debuted on record with an independently released EP titled Smells Like Christmas Spirit, released in time for the 1999 holiday season. After splitting a live 12" with the Traitors the following year, Evil Beaver began work on its full-length debut.
