Margie Alexander

Gospel singer Margie Alexander was born in 1948 in northwest Georgia. Her first major singing job was with the Gospel Crusaders of Los Angeles, but Alexander later signed with Clarence Carter for five years. After time spent recording with Atlantic, she joined the Soul-Po-Tion label and released God Is in Control. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
