Monchy & Alexandra

Assembled by Dominican producers Ramón Cordero and Martires de León in 1998, Monchy & Alexandra comprises Ramón Rijo (aka Monchy) (born in La Romana in 1977) and Alexandra Cabrera de la Cruz (aka Alexandra) (born in Santo Domingo in 1978). A successful international tour followed their first hit, "Hoja en Blanco." In 2002, their top-selling album Confesiones featured their second smash, a song called "Te Quiero Igual Que Ayer." ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
