Studied acting with Sanford Meisner at New York's Neighborhood Playhouse. Big Broadway break was a 1979 production of Bent, costarring with Richard Gere. Also in 1979, made a splash as "Ajax" in cult hit The Warriors, directed by Walter Hill, with whom he would later work in 48 Hrs. (1982) and Wild Bill (1995). Has played recurring characters on Sex and the City, Third Watch and 7th Heaven . Voice credits include Justice League Unlimited, the 2005 video game The Warriors and the… Show more 2011 film Transformers: Dark of the Moon . In 2007, was nominated for a Saturn Award, which honors the best in film and television in science fiction, fantasy and horror genres, for Best Supporting Actor in the Showtime series Dexter .
