Chimaira

Chimaira is a heavy metal band from Cleveland, OH and formed in 1998. The band release an EP, called "This Present Darkness" in 2000, which in turn led them to being signed by Roadrunner Record - a label know primarily as a rock and heavy metal corporation. They released their full length debut "Pass Out of Existence" in 2001. This release started to garner national exposure and 2003's "Impossibility of Reason" set them on their way and earned national tours and participation in the summer touring rock festival "Ozzfest."

The band has since released three album: 2005's "Chimaira", 2007's "Resurrection" and 2009's "The Infection." In 2006 Chimaira left Roadrunner Records, and then signed with Ferret Records, for which the last two albums were released under.
