Anointed

Producers Mark Heimermann and Chris Harris formed the gospel/R&B group Anointed in the early '90s, releasing Spiritual Love Affair and It's in God's Hands Now before their breakout album The Call appeared in 1995. Besides being Anointed's best-selling work to date, the album garnered a Grammy nomination and three Dove awards, including Best Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year. Anointed's fifth album, Under the Influence, was released in late 1996. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
