Skimmer

Formed out of the 80s U.K. punk outfit the Sect, Skimmer take more of a playful approach with their simple, four chord, Ramones influenced pop-punk. On top of abrasive dual guitars and occasional harmonies, Skimmer released a series of EPs on Crackle Records -- this discography includes Better Than Being Alone (1994), Happy (1995), All I Know Is Wrong (1996), and Uncool (1996) -- before they put out their first full-length, Vexed, two years later.
