The Step Kings

New York City alternative metal band the Step Kings was formed in February of 1997 by singer/bassist Bob McLynn, guitarist Fern, and drummer Mike Watt. After releasing their first EP, Seven Easy Steps, the group spent the next two years on the road, touring in support of Stormtroopers of Death and Vision of Disorder; multi-instrumentalist Bo Bailey signed on following completion of 2000's Let's Get It On, the Step Kings' debut for new label Roadrunner. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
