Mark Gardener

After Mark Gardener left Ride during the mixing process of the band's album Tarantula, the singer/guitarist began working on solo material and released the "Magdalen Sky" single on Oxford, England's Shifty Disco label. It took eight years for him to release his first solo album, These Beautiful Ghosts, but he spent the intervening years touring and making the occasional guest appearance on recordings by Rinôçérôse and the Morning After Girls. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
