Trinkwasser

Yet another outlet for J. Burger, the man otherwise/better known as the Modernist, the Bionaut, and Triola (among several others), Trinkwasser is a collaboration between the Cologne techno-scene veteran's productions and Lothar Hempel's German vocal talents. The four-song Cobra single was released in 1997 on the revived Harvest label, and that was followed two years later by the Extraleben single, which kicked off Burger's own Popular imprint. In 2001, a pair of the duo's ambient electronic pop tracks were featured on Teil 1, the inaugural release on Leichtes Hö, a label partnership between the Popular and Kompakt imprints. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
