Chris Pine

Chris Pine (born August 26, 1980 in Los Angeles, CA) is a film actor. He is the son of actors Gwynne Gilford and Robert Pine. Pine is most well-known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk in the J.J. Abram's revival movie "Star Trek" - an is scheduled to again portray Kirk in the sequal tentatively scheduled for a release in 2011.

Besides his role as Captain Kirk, Pine has had starring roles in the movies "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement," "Just My Luck" and a minor role in "Smokin' Aces." He's also had bit roles in TV shows like ER, The Guardian, CSI: Miami, and Six Feet Under.
