Viggo Mortensen

Ok, the first time I saw Viggo in a movie was in "The Lord of the Rings" series. I liked his ruggedness, but didn't think that his acting was terribly remarkable (although he played his role very convincingly). It wasn't until I watched "Eastern Promises" that I became awe-struck by his work. The guy can act. Better yet, he can act as a Russian mobster. His accent and demeanor was depicted perfectly. He was nominated for an Academy Award, which I think was well-deserved! I look forward to seeing more of him on the silver screen!
