The Rockets

With their inspiration of AC/DC, Motorhead and Electric Frankenstein, Mike Motorfinger (guitar/vocals), Martin Rocket (bass) and Ryd (drums) got together The Rockets in 1997 for the purpose of importing a heavy metal sound to their native Denmark. On top of the blunt energy of three chord punk, The Rockets released a handful of seven-inches the following year after their formation. This includes The Very First Ride EP, Voltage Demons and Electric Superinvention. The following year, The Rockets added the Ants In My Pants and Stardust Rider seven-inch to their catalog. ~ Mike DaRonco, Rovi
