One of the most versatile actors that's come around in a while, Gerard Butler can do it all. He gave a layered, subtle performance in "Love, Frankie". (That one's worth getting on Netflix cause you'll never catch it otherwise.)
But there's more: in addition to the tremendous acting, he showed amazing musical chops in "Phantom of the Opera". He even made "Timeline" watchable.
