Christine Ebersole

Christine Ebersole has enchanted audiences throughout her performing career, from the Broadway stage to numerous films, television series and specials, concert appearances and recordings. She received critical acclaim for her performance as Dorothy Brock in the smash revival of 42nd STREET where she won the Outer Critics Circle Award and the coveted Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Other memorable New York performances include Broadway's DINNER AT EIGHT (Tony and Outer Critics Circle nominations) and Off Broadway in Alan Bennett's TALKING HEADS (Obie Award and Outer Critics Circle Award). Christine has drawn unanimous praise from critics and audiences alike for her groundbreaking performance in the dual roles of Edith Bouvier Beale and "Little" Edie Beale. While GREY GARDENS was in its Off Broadway run Christine won the Outer Critics Circle Award, The Obie Award and Drama Desk Award for Best Actress in a Musical and was given a special citation from the New York Drama Critics and the Drama League for Performance of the Year. Currently, Christine is starring on Broadway in GREY GARDENS at the Walter Kerr Theatre where she has earned the 2007 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical.
